  I went to visit this nursing home on behalf of a relative and popped in to have a look around. Upon arriving, I was let in with no question of who I was and it seemed there were very little staff around as it took around ten minutes for the cook who had opened the door to find a nurse for me to speak to. The environment was loud and distressing and many residents were left shouting in distress as I was being shown around. Most to my disgust, I had noticed that a nurse call bell had been rang, setting an intrusive alarm through the whole nursing home. This alarm was left and ignored for around ten minutes by the nurse in charge. The lack of concern shown was appalling and the standards of care are clearly quite low. I would not recommend.
